Mexborough (canal, flour mill and church) has a magnetic pull for me and while I was wandering around the churchyard yesterday, Digilux 3 in hand, the vicar popped by and invited me in.
A combination of needing two pairs of spectacles, feeling rushed and tiny Digilux controls resulted in a suite of blurred images with only one being just about presentable.
There is a Norman aisle so a return visit with another camera (and even a tripod!!!) is planned.
There's a good gang of gargoyles and grotesques.
