Dynax 7D

As a collector of Minolta cameras I could not resist adding another to, what some might consider to be, an excessive number of similar looking models. However the 7D is a bit special in that it was Minolta's last professional camera (before they sold out to Sony) and is still very usable even though it is only 6.1 MP and 10 years old.

( N.B. any odd coloured words are due to an unwanted advertising cookie that I cannot seem to delete)

A misty morning was followed by a sunny trip to Penistone where I found a barn looking its best in the angled sunlight.

I then popped in to Hoylandswaine church, with its neat and tidy graveyard. It confirmed that the 7D was capable of taking sharp pictures even if I was not.

Graham and I enjoyed mucking about around Holme Styes reservoir. The light was good and enriched the rather dull plantations of coniferous woodland.

Our trip ended at Holmfirth where we bought lots of books and photographed some cobbles.

On the subject of cobbles here's a bridge and lock from the Huddesfield Narrow Canal.
