Ripon

The day after Lincoln, Bren and I went to Ripon and enjoyed both town and cathedral more than expected. The Spa Baths and Spa Gardens were a delight with its Alice in Wonderland sculpture and croquet match.

The cathedral was less damaged by the Victorian restoration than I feared but there were far too many memorials.
