I seem to be rather addicted to industrial scenes at the moment.
Tinsley is now only famous for its viaduct. The cooling towers were demolished ages ago and a new biomass power station built.

The Tinsley Viaduct was opened in 1968, which was the year that I arrived in Sheffield. The Queen cut a ribbon and the University Rag Committee painted a pedestrian crossing on the M1.
