Focus Stacking

Focus stacking involves a computer programme combining the sharpest parts of several similar images to (hopefully) produce an image that is sharp from foreground to background. Just why this is important probably has more to do with marketing than necessity. As it is vital that the subjects do not move, graveyards seemed to be an ideal place to practice.

Focus stacking is best utilised in macro photography but I have neither the skill nor patience for such things.
